My daughters afghan

Here is the progress I've made on my daughters afghan so far. It's more than halfway done. I made it with Caron's Simply soft yarn in teal, yellow and black. Those are her colors.

Miranda Tagged me!

Each person tagged gives 7 random facts about themselves. Those tagged need to write in their blogs 7 facts, as well as the rules of the game. You need to tag seven others and list their names on your blog. You have to leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and to read your blog. Here are my facts:

1) I have been married for 22 years to a wonderful man.
2) I have two children. A daughter 20 and a son 17.
3) I volunteer and am on committees with our local library. I love books!
4) I live in a semi rural area and have a beautiful view of Amish farms all around me.
5) I love working in my flower beds. It's very peaceful.
6) I have the most wonderful, fun, adorable, sweet and loving little 3 year old Great Niece in the whole world.
7) I like candles very much. I'm always burning them.

I will post my tags as soon as I figure out who they are. LOL

Not up to par

I haven't posted my daughters afghan yet because I've been sick and also on Monday I had to put one of my cats to sleep. Such a sad day. I had him for 12 years and it was unexpected. I cried on and off all day Monday. I received a very nice simpathy card from my vets office yesterday and it said that I did the right thing and that he is now comfortable and happy. I thought that was so nice.

Now I'm back with problems with my acid reflux and hiatal hernia. I've been in alot of pain for the past 5 days and today I have an appointment with my doctor. I'm so uncomfortable and feel lousy.

I haven't crocheted much since I'm not feeling to great. I will try to post a picture of the afghan later today if I feel up to it.

Making a round ripple afghan

Well I am working on a round ripple afghan for my daughter. I've owed her an afghan oh, for about a year now. So I got started on it lastnight and it's turning out really pretty. She wanted it in Turquois, black and yellow. I'm using Caron's Simply soft. It's coming out nice. I'll post a picture of my progress tomorrow.

My allergies are starting to get to me. Haven't been feeling up to par today. The pollen is flying everywhere! I feel like one of the 7 Dwarfs. Just call me Sneezy. Now that I think about it. I think I have some of all of the 7 Dwarfs in me. Hmmmmm.
